Privacy policy
Last updated: June 2026.
Maggie ("we") is committed to protecting the privacy of our users and their clients. When you use Maggie, we process data necessary to provide the service: account information, firm and client data you enter, documents, and usage related to the platform.
Your firm is the data controller for client and matter data. Maggie acts as a data processor on your instructions. See our Data Processing Agreement for details.
What we process
- Account and firm registration (Early Access, invitations)
- Client, matter, document, calendar, billing, and portal data you enter or upload
- Transactional emails via Resend; optional payments via Stripe
- Optional AI indexing (text extraction, embeddings) on your deployment infrastructure
Your data
We do not sell your data. Data is stored in your deployment (PostgreSQL, local files, vector index). We use industry-standard measures including TLS in transit and tenant isolation. See Security & compliance and Subprocessors.
